| Below is a resume of some of the projects that we have undertaken in the field of general contracting.
Hospitals
Construction of four 80-bed hospitals in regional towns
A typical facility included a surgical department consisting of two operating theatres, recovery room, sterilization room complete with autoclave, scrub room, staff changing and shower rooms, store; obstetrics department consisting of delivery room, pre and post delivery rooms, minor ops room, premature facility, scrub room, staff changing and shower rooms, sterilization room, store; service department including kitchen plus stores and laundry plus stores and staff room and workshops; ten wards plus nurses stations, stores and bathroom facilities; emergency department and a separate consultancy wing plus an administrative section. Total built area of hospital was over 6,000 square meters plus perimeter walls in addition to service roads. The hospital was air-conditioned throughout, and supplied with a water storage capacity of approximately 100 m3.
This job was completed over a nine-month period.

The project included designing the hospital - drawing up the plans, bills of quantities, ordering equipment and supplies – and executing the project, including daily supervision of work, ensuring quality, liaison with the Ministry of Health and Directorates of Health.
Redesign, rehabilitation and extension of twelve regional hospitals – doubling their bed capacity. Work included: redesigning the facility, gutting the existing building, designing and installing potable water piping systems, sewage systems, electrical power supply from a
one mega transformer throughout the facility including installing the transformer, main boards, distribution panels, etc. Upon completion, the redesigned facility included all the sections detailed above in the constructed facility.
