Qadisseyah Sewage Lifting Station - Baghdad

• Closing the main effluent pipe diameter 3.3 meters.
• Removing the concrete retaining wall which held the penstock - 13 meters deep.
• Casting a new retaining wall and installing new main penstock on the effluent pipe that was electrically operated - weight 25 tonnes.
• Replacing the four mechanical and electrical screens.
• Overhauling the ten submersible pumps - capacity 2000 m3/hr.
• Overhauling pump shafts - 13 meters high.
• Overhauling ten motors and starters.
• Overhauling all the electrical actuators.
• Overhauling the main boards - high and low tension.
• Wide-ranging civil works.

Four lifting stations in Dora – Baghdad

• Constructing concrete pits.
• Installing new pumps.
• Installing new electrical boards.
• Installing new piping.

Construction of two gray water-lifting stations in Heet Town, Anbar Governorate

• Constructing the stations on two open gray water channels.
• Installing all mechanical and electrical fittings including pumps.
• Laying 2,400 meters of main pipes for storm water, complete with gullies.
• Lowering, cleaning, re-sloping and constructing culverts along 4,400 meters of open gray water channels.

Construction of one gray water lifting station in Shatra, Thiqar Governorate

• Constructing the station installing all mechanical and electrical fittings including pumps.
• Laying 1,200 meters of main pipes for storm water evacuation.

Potable water network

749.5 kilometers of potable water network was laid in twenty-two towns in central and southern Iraq.

Work included assessments, design of new network, laying the network, connecting the network to beneficiaries, both households, government buildings, and commercial sites, and making good the pavements and roads once the work had been completed.
